Have you tried REXEC with the command "XTERM -display myip:0"?
Frankly at 14.4k I wouldn't bother with X. An Xterm may give acceptable
performance but most X applications will be so slow as to be unusable.

However, 3 minutes to open an XTERM seems rather slow. It depends somewhat
on the host machine but on my 9600 buad modem, an XTERM opens in less than
a minute.

Does anyone have example VB declarations and code that illustrated winsock
access that they would be willing to share. I am a total winsock newbie and
would like to try to hit the ground running with this stuff...

I was wondering if there is a FAQ for Winsock and I was hoping someone
could direct me to it.  If not is there some other way to get some
information on Winsock?

Subject: ChameleonNFS:  "mynfshost: RPC: Unknown Protocol" ????

I've been using ChameleonNFS for sometime now but of late it has
been responding with "mynfshost: RPC: Unknown Protocol" whenever
I try to reconnect the NFS drives.

Any ideas?  Have I accidently removed pertinent info from one of the
c:\netmanag files??
